BBC Film Festival

I went along to the BBC Film Festival at Glasgow Green yesterday with Sam, who had a spare ticket.

We listened to a couple of talks by screen writers: Jeremy Brock (The Last King of Scotland), Kevin Hood (Becoming Jane), Gillies MacKinnon (Small Faces) and also an entertaining interview of Brian Cox by Kirsty Wark.

We also watched the Buster Keaton film 'Sherlock Jr' with live piano. I'm not a huge fan of Buster Keaton by any means, but I really enjoyed it and the the live piano enhanced it greatly.

The highlight of the day though, was getting my photo taken with a Star Wars Stormtrooper. Sad I know.
