Poland - Dec 05

Just got back from Poland yesterday. There were 8 of us that went over to Krakow for 5 nights..Andy, Alex, Graham, Flash, Me, Gordon, Stewart and Malky. Had a great time though I am suffering now. Full of the cold and too much vodka. On the plus side, we all made it safely home and managed to avoid any run ins with the local polis.
Krakow was a lovely place and we managed to get out and about and see the sights in between drinking around the Old Town and in Kazimierz (Jewish Quarter).
We also visited Auschwitz and Auschwitz-Birkenau which was an upsetting and moving experience that I will never forget.

Um, I'm sure Holland does look beautiful but not sure what that has to do with my photos of Poland?

Is this a reference to Alex MacDonald?

I knew I'd regret admitting going to McD's in Tokyo :-)
I can say with a clear conscience that I didn't go to McDonalds in Krakow though. After a few beers and vodka (purely to keep warm!), the kebabs at the old town went down a treat.
