Arran - May 07

I was over in Arran last weekend with Andy, Gordon, Graham and Malky. Unusually we had opted to camp in Lamlash rather than getting a B&B.

It was certainly an experience.

After getting the tents sorted, we headed to the pub to sample Lamlash's night life. Unfortunately the lock in didn't transpire so we headed back to the tents.

Saturday - minus Graham who woke up cold and soaking wet in his tent and got the first ferry home! - we headed up to Corrie to walk up Goat Fell. The weather was not too bad so we thought we might get a view from the summit for the first time ever.

No such luck. As we neared the top the fog came in.

It was pretty grim so we didn't hang about too long.

After finally finding our way back down into Brodick, we went for some pub grub and a pint before heading back to Lamlash. We hit the pub again where the highlight of the night was the band covering the theme tune to Minder. Class. It was like the Phoenix Club.
